My husband loves chicken wings and pizza, and we could go broke ordering in everynight. This is a nice easy recipe, that provides the best of both worlds and doesn't break the bank.
Ingredients:
1 tsp FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup Franks Red Hot
1 cup Diced Chicken Breast
1 Pizza Crust
1/4 cup Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing
2 tsp Crushed or Minced Garlic
2 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
3 tbsp Magarine or Butter Melted
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook chicken breast, grilled, pan cooked, which ever your preference. You could even fry it.
Once chicken is cooked, remove from heat, let it cool enough to safely touch, and then diced it up into bit sized pieces.
Lighty oil a round pizza sheet, or a flour a a pizza stone.
Using either a store bought, premade pizza crust, or dough, spread it out smoothly across the pizza pan. The edges shoud be slightly thicker than the center, as they will form the crust.
Use one table spoon of melted butter or margarine, and mix the garlic into it.
Spread the garlic, butter mix directly on the dough/crust.
Spread the blue cheese dressing onto the garlic butter.
Evenly distribute the mozzarella cheese over the blue cheese.
Please remember to keep the crust area free of toppings.
In a small bowl, toss the cooked chicken with remaining butter, Franks Red Hot, and French's worchestershire sauce.
Place chicken on top of the cheese.
Place in the oven for 30 minutes, or until cheese is nicely melted and lightly brown and crust is no longer doughy.
Slice into 8 portions, and serve.
You could use whole wheat crust, reduced fat mozzarella and dressing to make this recipe much healthier and not compromise any tast.
