Chicken Florentine and Crispy Onion Sandwich

A real family pleaser! And it is a mom favorite because it is so quick to make. I can even sneak in some spinach ~ a definite plus! The crispy onions on top add a great texture and finish off the comforting dish.

Ingredients:

1 cup FRENCH'S® Cheddar French Fried Onions

1 crusty french fread loaf

2 cup rotisserie chicken (deboned and skinned)

2 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated parmesean cheese

1/4 cup butter

2 cup baby spinach leaves

Directions:

Cut french loaf in four sections. Then cut the loaf lengthwise but not all the way through. Cut the deboned, skinned chicken into bite sized pieces. In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, grated parmesan cheese, and butter over medium heat. Bring just to a boil then add spinach leaves for one minute. Remove cream mixture from the heat. Add the chicken pieces. Fill each fourth of French loaf with a quarter of the chicken alfredo mixture. Then top each sandwich with ΒΌ cup french fried onions. Serve immediately.
