Chicken Crunch Sandwich

This recipes brings me a smile first because it is easy and delicious (always a plus with a busy mom). My husband always enjoys it and comments so and I personally, just love a good sandwich!

SERVINGS 6
COOK TIME 30 min
PREP TIME 10 min

Ingredients:

1 cup FRENCH'S® Cheddar French Fried Onions

1/4 cup FRENCH'S® Classic Yellow® Mustard

1 lb Chicken Breasts

2 cup Iceberg Lettuce, Chopped

12 oz Kaiser Rolls

12 oz Bacon

1/2 cup Hellman's Mayo

1/2 cup BBQ Sauce, Honey or other sweet flavor

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:

1. Poach chicken in simmering water for 15-20 minutes until cooked thoroughly. Remove chicken, allow to cool, shred and set aside. 2. While chicken is poaching crisp bacon on med-high heat, this will take about 8 minutes. Place bacon on a paper towel to drain and set aside. 3. Mix Mustard, Mayo and BBQ sauce together in a bowl and set aside. 4. Shred lettuce and split Kaiser Rolls. Sandwich is ready to assemble. 5. To Assemble: Divide shredded chicken equally to the bottom of each roll. Next, divide Cheddar french fried onions and lettuce, place on top of chicken. Top lettuce with 2 pieces of bacon and spread desired amount of sauce on top of bun. Enjoy!
I couldn't put Kaiser rolls on my recipes without giving a weight so I guessed. You will need 6 individual rolls.
