My daughter likes Chicken Cordon Bleu, and loves French's french fried onions. Putting them together put a smile on her face!
Ingredients:
6 oz FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Honey Dijon Mustard
4 Boneless, skinless chicken breast halfs
10.75 oz 1 can Cream of Chicken soup
4 Thin slices deli ham
4 Thin slices Swiss Cheese
1 tbsp water
1/4 tsp pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine soup with French's Honey Dijon Mustard, pepper, and water. Stir until smooth. Set aside. Pour French's french fried onions onto a plate and crush slightly, just enough to break apart the larger pieces. Set aside. Place 1 slice of deli ham and 1 slice of swiss cheese on each chicken breast half. Roll and secure each with 2 toothpicks. Coat each piece with soup mixture, then roll in fried onions. Place in 9x13 baking pan prepared with no-stick spray. Bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes.
This is easy enough for a family dinner, but also fancy enough for entertaining. It pairs very well with rice.
