Chick Patties

A healthy, savory, very tasty dish that stands on its own either as an entre, an appetizer, or a side alongside a light fish, such as cod.

Ingredients:

1 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

2 cup 15 oz garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup frozen spinach, thawned and drained

1 tbsp celery salt

2 curry powder

1 egg

3 cloves garlic

1/2 cup parmasean cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F. Combine rinsed and fully drained garbanzo beans, fully drained spinach, celery salt, curry powder, egg and parmasean cheese in a food processor. Pulse until all ingredients are combined. Form mixture into 6 patties. Pulverize French's fried onions in food processor. Press both sides of each patty into fried onion crumbs (approximately 3 tablespoons per patty). Place each patty on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove and let rest two minutes... Delicious!!
