My family loves this recipe because it is so yummy and everyone can help make it! My 6 and 9 year old girls sometimes like to help in the kitchen and this is one they can make themselves. This is also the recipe I teach first to children learning to cook. I love it because I can make a double batch and have leftovers for school lunch or after-school snack.
Ingredients:
2 tsp FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
10 oz tuna in water
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp onion powder
3 oz American cheese
10 oz slices of bread
2 tbsp softened butter
Directions:
Cut crusts from bread and spread them with softened butter. Push 8 pieces into muffin tin holes, buttered side down. Mix drained tuna cups with cut up cheese, French's worcestershire, mayonnaise, lemon juice and onion powder. Divide among bread cups. Cut remaining bread into circles, squares or other shapes and place buttered side up on tops of cups. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until crusty brown.
