A delicious cheesy take on a very popular sandwich. The French fried onions on top are a nice twist and add a wonderful crunch!
Ingredients:
1 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
1 tbsp olive oil
1 lb store-bought ready-made pizza dough
1 cup sharp white cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
12 oz thin sliced deli roast beef, cut into 1/4-inch strips
1 medium-sized green bell pepper, seeds and veins removed, thinly sliced
8 oz package provolone cheese slices
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Grease a 14-inch pizza pan with the olive oil. Place pizza dough onto pizza pan and stretch dough to fit pan, being careful not to tear dough. Prick dough a few times with fork. Place pizza pan into preheated oven and bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven, cool slightly, approximately 2 minutes.
Top crust evenly with the cheddar cheese and Swiss cheese, then evenly with the roast beef and green pepper. Place the provolone cheese slices on top of the pizza, covering entire top of pizza, overlapping slices if necessary. Place back in oven and continue to cook for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and top evenly with French fried onions. Place back in oven and continue to cook until edge of crust is golden brown, approximately 3 - 5 minutes.
Cut pizza into 8 slices and enjoy!!
