Cheeseburger in Paradise

Cheeseburgers are always a favorite at our house and of course kids of all ages love anything baked in a "pocket" of dough. You can personalize these with putting your favorite mustard in your pocket. I like honey mustard, my husband loves spicy brown and the kids love classic French's yellow mustard. These burgers go together really quickly and dissappear even faster.

Ingredients:

2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce

1 cup FRENCH'S® Cheddar French Fried Onions

4 tsp FRENCH'S® Mustard Products

1 lb Lean Ground Beef

2 Cans refrigerated crescent roll dough sheets

4 tbsp ketchup

16 Pickle slices - blotted dry

4 Slices cheddar cheese

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix ground beef, worcestershire, French’s onions, egg, salt, pepper and form four hamburger patties. Brown each patty in nonstick skillet over med high heat for about 4 minutes on each side,(burgers will continue to cook in oven). Drain patties on paper towels and blot dry. Unroll both cans of crescent sheet dough and cut each rectangular sheet in half resulting in four squares of dough. Spread 1 tsp French’s mustard in the center of each dough square. Place burgers in center of dough squares and top each one with 1 tbsp ketchup, four pickle slices and one slice of cheddar cheese. Wrap each burger in dough by folding in the four corners of the square and pinching the seams closed. Put each dough wrapped burger seam side down on a backing sheet and cut a small slit on the top to vent. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until light golden brown. Serve with additional French’s mustard and ketchup for dipping.
