This recipe brings smiles to the table because we love a bar-b-que. In the wintertime, I will broil it and we pretend we are on a picnic! I especially like this easy to make recipe because it always finishes with lots of complements and smiles from the eaters.

PREP TIME 30 min

Ingredients:

1 tbsp FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce

1/2 tsp FRENCH'S® Classic Yellow® Mustard

8 oz FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

2 lb Hamburger, 85% lean

1/4 tsp Garlic powder

1/2 cup Monterey jack cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded

4 oz Mushrooms, sliced

1/8 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

Directions:

Mix hamburger with salt, pepper, garlic powder, French's Worcestershire sauce and yellow mustard. Divide into four balls. For each ball, break off 1/3 and set aside for the top. For the remaining 2/3's, form sides on the base as if to make a cup. Fill each base cup with 2 tbsp monterey jack cheese, 1 oz mushrooms, 1 oz French's French Fried Onions and 2 tbsp sharp cheddar cheese. Flatten the 1/3 top to layover and cover the base cup. Crimp the sides to the top. Mold into a loaf enclosing the ingredients. BBQ or broil. Garnish burgers with French's French Fried Onions.
Grill for 5 minutes each side. Or broil on lowest oven rack for 3-5 minutes per side. Can be made earlier in the day and stored in the refrigerator until ready to cook.
