Bog Burgers

French's French Fried Onions combine with cranberry relish to make a SMILE on your face when you eat one of these burgers!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

1.5 lb Lean Ground Pork or Turkey

1 beaten egg

1/3 cup cranberry relish

1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts

4 Toasted whole grain English muffins or buns

2/3 cup thinly sliced red onion

4 lettuce leaves

Directions:

Preheat spray with non-stick cooking spray and then preheat a Foreman grill, or outdoor grill to medium-high. In large bowl, combine French's French Fried Onions, ground pork ( or turkey), beaten egg, cranberry relish-(reserving 2 T relish for serving), walnuts and salt & pepper. Mix well and form into 4 patties. The patties will be soft , so you can stick them in the fridge for about 5-10 minutes to make them easier to work with. Grill burgers over med-high heat for 10-12 minutes, turning once until browned( internal temperature will be about 170 degrees). Spread a little of the reserved cranberry relish on the taosted English muffins or buns. Place cooked bog burgers on the bread, top each with red onion slices and lettuce leaves.
