Bistro Steak Bruschetta

This delicious meal looks so pretty on the plate. It is zesty, tangy, fresh and flavorful. After you take a bite, you will lick your lips, smile and dive in for the next bite.

Ingredients:

3 tbsp FRENCH'S® Mustard Products

1.5 lb boneless sirloin steak, fat trimmed

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1/4 cup chutney

6 purchased croissants, split, warmed

2 cup arugula leaves

2 tomatoes, chopped

1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

Directions:

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook steak to desired doneness, flipping once. Remove to a plate to rest for 4 minutes. Meanwhile, stir together vinegar, chutney, mustard. Add steak back to skillet over medium heat and add the mustard blend. Turn steak in skillet until coated. Remove from heat. Salt & pepper to taste Assemble dish by placing split warm croissants, cut side up side by side on a platter. Sprinkle arugula across croissants, followed by tomatoes, steak slices and top with blue cheese. Serve family style (one large platter, self-serve.)
This recipe can be grilled outside also, with the steak tossed in the sauce after grilling. It is fast, flavorful and will win you raves.
