Billion Dollar Burgers

This is a Burger guaranteed to please ANYONE, for it can be varied to suit almost any taste. Nothing beats that Kodak-moment expression of pure delight when a friend bites into the surprise filling for the very first time!

Ingredients:

1 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions Products

2 tsp FRENCH'S® Worcestershire Sauce Products

1 lb ground beef or veal

1 beaten egg

4 oz Cheddar or Monterey Jack Cheese

1 cup fried bacon or sliced avocado or sliced jalapenos or pickle relish

4 hamburger buns, split, buttered, and toasted

1/2 cup melted butter

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:

Mix together ground beef, French's Fried Onions, beaten egg, French's Worcestershire Sauce, and salt and pepper. Form 8 patties of 1/4-inch thickness each. Layer any optional fillers on each of 4 patties, careful NOT to extend fillers to the edges of the patties. Fillers may include slices of cheese, sliced avocados, fried bacon, sliced jalapenos, pickle relish, etc. Place each of the remaining 4 patties on top of the fillers and pinch closed all around the edges. Broil burgers to desired doneness 5 to 6 minutes on each side, basting frequently with melted butter. Serve on hamburger buns which have been buttered and toasted, along with any additional condiments desired (mustard, etc.).
