Beefy Lettuce Wraps

My family loves lettuce wraps! We have a favorite restaurant that every time we go we get the lettuce wraps. So I thought why can't we make them at home. So when I came up with this version, my husband said we didn't need to get them at the restaurant any more. They love them so much, if we have leftovers they eat them for breakfast.

Ingredients:

8 oz FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

4 tbsp FRENCH'S® Worcestershire Sauce Products

2 lb Ground Beef

16 oz 1 bag cole slaw mix

8 oz 1 can waterchestnuts chopped

3 cloves garlic chopped

1 1 head Iceberg Lettuce

3/4 cup Teriyaki Sauce

Directions:

In a large frying pan on stove, cook ground beef until done, then drain access grease. In same pan, add cole slaw mix, chopped waterchestnuts, chopped garlic, salt and pepper. sautee on mediun heat 2 - 3 minutes. Add ground beef back in along with, teriyaki sauce, worcestershire sauce and cook 5 minutes more..Then stir in French Fried Onions and remove from heat.. While beef mixture is cooking prepare lettuce, remove core and take leafs off one by one. Take a lettuce leaf and fill with meat mixture, and roll up.
You can even prepare you lettuce the night before and store it in a ziplock bag for one less step.
