It's a "all in one" meal. My husband enjoys this dish at supper as well as taking leftovers for lunch the next day. Friends and family enjoy it when added to an outdoor activity in the summer or fall such as a chicken stew or weenie/marshmallow roast event.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup FRENCH'S® Mustard Products
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp salt
2 tsp pepper
Directions:
3 lbs ground chuck
1 large onion chopped
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsp pepper
4 cans Pork & Beans
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. French's mustard
1/4 c. Ketcup
1/2 c. Brown sugar
Fry ground chuck, with salt, pepper and chopped onions in pan. When brown remove from heat and drain, discarding excess fat.
Place pork & beans in a 9 x 12 baking pan, add water, brown mustard, ketcup and brown sugar. Stir thoroughly.
Combine beef with pork & beans. Place in oven at 375 degrees and bring to a boil uncovered. Let boil for approximately five minutes (to retain liquid) then remove from heat. Ready to serve. A delightful meal with corn bread.
