They're delicious!!!
Ingredients:
1 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
1 tbsp FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
Directions:
Bake 4 Idaho Russet potatoes until done.
Cut off slice from top of each potatoe and remove insides, leaving about 1/4 inch border inside each potato. Place removed potato in a large bowl. Add the following ingredients:
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup Frenchs French Fried Onions (save remaining 3/4 cup for later)
Frenchs Worchester Sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Mash ingredients with an electric mixer or by hand and refill each potato shell. (POTATOES CAN BE PREPARED AHEAD AT THIS POINT AND FROZEN OR HELD UNTIL NEEDED.)
Place potatoes on a baking sheet and put into a 350 degree oven and bake for 15 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Carefully remove from oven and press remaining Frenchs French Fried Onion onto top of each potato, distributing evenly. Return to oven for about 5 - 6 minutes or until onions are crispy and delicious. Serve.
This recipe is absolutely delicious. I invented it when I had Frenchs French Fried Onions left over from Thanksgiving. I decided they would probably be pretty good over baked pototoes. Boy, were they ever. I next made these baked, stuffed pototoes for dinner guests and they couldn't stop raving about them. They all wanted to know the receipe. They were the hit of the evening.
This receipe is wonderful frozen. I make about 6 potatoes at a time and freeze those I don't use immediately. It's like having gold in your freezer. My husband and I make a meal out of them, along with a small green salad.
