Everyone that loves baked squash loves this dish!!
Ingredients:
2 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
2 lb Yellow Squash
1 oz Chicken bouillon cube
3/4 cup Sour Cream
1 cup Cream of Chicken Soup
1 cup Medium Carrot Grated
1/2 lb Light Butter
3 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Directions:
Slice and boil squash for about 10 minutes, until tender not mushy. Dissolve the chicken bouillon cube in the boiling water while cooking the squash. When squash is ready, drain off liquid. Combine all other ingredients and add to drain squash and place in greased casserole dish. Melt butter and combine with French's Fried onions. Add on top and bake at 350* for 30 minutes.
Make sure it is a large casserole dish, 2 quart with a glass lid so you can check on it while in the oven after about 20 minutes. Last 10 minutes bake without the lid on so it gets crunchy and slightly brown on top.
