Aunt Beulah's Hamburg Casserole

This is a family favorite! The Frenche's French Fried Onions, give this dish a crunchy twist and accents the onion gravy!

Ingredients:

2 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

1.5 lb hamburger

1/2 tsp garlic salt

2 oz onion gravy mix

1 cup uncooked minute rice

8 oz sliced water chestnuts

10 oz frozen peas (thawed)

Directions:

Mix together: garlic salt; onion gravy mix; water & rice. Set aside. Cook hamburger until no longer pink. Drain well and return to skillet. Add above ingredients to cooked hamburger Bring to a boil. reduce heat & simmer 15 minutes. Stir in thawed peas and water chestnuts (drained) Place in serving dish and spread Frenche's French Fried Onions on top. Serve with Soy sause on the side.
I serve this with a garden salad on the side, or cucumbers~!
