I got this artichoke recipe years ago, and I make it for friends all the time as this is always a favorite. it goes perfectly with the tangy mushrooms.
Ingredients:
1 tbsp FRENCH'S® Dijon Mustard
1 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
1/4 cup FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
4 portobella mushroom cap
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
8 oz can marinated artichoke hearts
4 oz paremsan cheese
8 oz fontina cheese
Directions:
Mix Worcestershire, vinegar, and mustard and pour into a flat container. Soak mushroom caps in the marinade for at least 15 minutes.
Grill the mushroom caps for about 7 minutes on each side. Meanwhile, chop the artichoke hearts and shred or cut the cheese into small cubes. When the mushrooms are cooked, fill with a handful of fried onions, then top with some artichokes and cheese. Put these in the over at 350 degrees for a few minutes until cheese is well melted.
