It's an easy to make meal with a sweet sour flavor that appeals
Ingredients:
2 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Horseradish Mustard
14 oz canned saurkraut, shredded
14 oz fried apples, canned
18 oz Brautwarst
3 cup prepared mashed potatoes
2 tbsp sour cream
Directions:
Heat over to 375 f. Place drained saurkraut in 2 Qt or larger ovenproof casserole dish. Top with drained fried apples. Cover and place in oven. In shallow dish cut brautwarst into 2-3 inch pieces and bake along with kraut. After 20 minutes remove both dishes. Place drained brautswarst over apples. Top with mashed potatoes then French fried onions (press into potatos) Return to oven for 15 minutes. Make a sauce from mustard and sour cream as an accompaniment.
Can't beat this all in one dish for a cool evening. It's chocked filled with flavor and the onions on top give it a touch of wimsey.
