Spicy Italian Style Meatloaf

My family absolutely gets giddy when I'm making this meatloaf - they love it that much! It never goes to waste as we make sandwiches the next day. SOOOOO good!

Ingredients:

6 oz FRENCH'S® Cheddar French Fried Onions

2 lb ground round

3/4 cup chopped bell pepper * red & green

6 oz pre-seasoned italian style tomato paste

1/2 cup italian bread crumbs

1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 egg

1/3 cup milk

4 tbsp water

2 tsp salt

1 tbsp pepper

Directions:

-preheat oven to 375 -chop peppers fine, set aside -crush french fried onions, set aside -in large bowl combine ground meat, 2/3 of the onions, peppers,4 tbsp.tomato paste, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, beaten egg, and milk (mix well with hands) -coat a broiler pan with non stick cooking spray -shape meatloaf mixture into a loaf shape on broiler pan and bake for 45 minutes. -meanwhile combine remaining tomato paste with 4 tbsp. water -brush meatloaf with thinned tomato paste and sprinkle with remaining onions, return to oven for 5 minutes. ENJOY!
I like to serve this with hot italian style spaghetti,a tossed salad, and garlic bread
