My children LOVE anything with pasta, cheese, and cream. When you add the honey mustard, it gives a burst of sweet flavor that your kids are sure to love.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup FRENCH'S® Honey Mustard
2 Chicken Breasts, cubed
3 oz Prosciutto, sliced
1 pt Heavy Cream
1 cup Parmesan Cheese
1 Onion, chopped
2 tbsp Butter
12 oz Penne Pasta
8 cup water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
1. Heat medium sized skillet to medium heat. Add cubed chicken breasts. Season with 1/2 t. salt and 1/2 t. pepper. Cook until lightly brown on outside and no longer pink about 6-8 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, in large pot, place water and heat on high until boiling. Add penne pasta and cook until al dente, according to package instructions (approx. 10-13 minutes). Drain.
3. In medium skillet, add butter. Add onions and let saute for 8 minutes, stirring often. Add heavy cream. Bring to a boil and then let simmer for 5 minutes. Add honey mustard and 1/2 t. salt and 1/2 t. pepper.
4. In greased 9 x 13 casserole dish, layer pasta, chicken, cream sauce, and top with sliced prosciutto. Sprinkle top with parmesan cheese.
5. Place in preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
