Hearty Stuffed Mushrooms
It's an easy and delicious way to get a serving of vegetables!
Ingredients:
4 tbsp FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
12 large white mushrooms
1 cup thawed frozen spinach
1/2 cup feta cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
2 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp pepper
Directions:
1. Clean off mushrooms with a damp paper towel and remove stalks.
2. Mix French's Onions, spinach, feta cheese, parmesan cheese and black pepper in a bowl.
3. Using a spoon, stuff each mushroom with approximately 1 tspn of spinach and onion mixture.
4. Mix the breadcrumbs with the butter and top each mushroom with the breadcrumbs mixture.
5. Place mushrooms on a single layer in a greased sheet pan. Bake in 375 degree oven for 15-20 minutes, or until breadcrumbs are golden brown.
