Castle of Ham Sandwich

I have 5 boys, ages 18, 17, 15, 7 & 4, each with their own tastes but they all love this recipe for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Ingredients:

4 tbsp FRENCH'S® Spicy Brown Mustard

4 eggs

8 sliced bread

32 extra thin slices of ham

4 thin slices of provolone

1/2 cup Apricot Jam

2 tbsp Mayonnaise

2 tbsp Butter

Directions:

Castle of Ham Sandwich 4 eggs 8 slices of bread 32 thin slices of ham 4 thin slices of provolone 4 tbls French’s Spicy Mustard ½ cup apricot jam 2 tbls mayonnaise (we like Miracle Whip) 4 tbls butter, divided Beat eggs, with a dash salt and pepper. Melt 2 tbls of butter in a square flat pan or a large skillet. Dip 4 pieces of bread in egg mixture and place in the pan over medium heat. In the meantime, mix mustard, jam and mayonnaise in a bowl. Flip bread when browned and brown on the other side. Repeat with the next 4 pieces of bread. In the meantime, prepare a microwave safe plate/platter with; 4 pieces of thin sliced ham for each sandwich, each piece of ham folded in half and lined up to make the bread shape. Top ham portions with cheese and microwave for 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted. To assemble, place apricot/mustard mixture on bread, top with ham and cheese. Optional toppings: French’s Fried Onions, bacon, basil leaves, lettuce, tomatoes, etc
