We love putting hot sauce in everything here in Buffalo - this is a crowd pleaser in a pretty saavy hot sauce crowd!!
Ingredients:
1 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
16 oz button mushrooms
1 tsp Frank's Hot Sauce
6 oz crumbled bleu cheese
1 tsp olive oil
Directions:
Clean mushrooms and remove stems; place stem-side up on a baking sheet. In small mixing bowl, combine bleu cheese and olive oil. Carefully drizzle in hot sauce, mix well with cheese and oil into a paste-like consistency. Spoon into mushroom caps. Sprinkle each cap with crushed french fried onions. Bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees. Serve as an appetizer. Great for cookouts/travelling with food!!
