How It Works: FRENCH'S® Foods, a division of Reckitt Benckiser Inc., invites you to submit an original, easy-to-make recipe that brings a smile to your family meals. It should include at least one FRENCH'S® product (limited to any variety of FRENCH'S® Mustard, FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions or FRENCH'S® Worcestershire Sauce) and adhere to the Recipe Requirements. The original recipe can be accompanied by an optional photo or video. Five finalists will compete in a LIVE Cook-Off event to be held in NYC for a chance to win the Grand Prize of $25,000. The photo or video are optional inclusions in your submission and should depict a special moment with the recipe or share a cooking demonstration.
During the Recipe Submission period (see below), 20 semi-finalists will be selected for advancement: 10 selected by a judging panel and 10 by popular online vote. The top 20 recipes will be featured on the FRENCH'S® website and advance to the Selection period (see below) for a chance to be named as one of the five finalists for the LIVE cook-off using your recipe. The finalists will consist of one "people's choice" award winner selected by popular vote along with four other finalists chosen by the FRENCH'S® judging panel. These five finalists will advance to the final LIVE Cook-Off event in February or March 2010 (final date TBD). The 5 finalists will also be highlighted on a special page promoting the final cook-off event on the website.
