How it works
French's is looking for the best easy-to-make, original recipe that brings the smiles back to dinnertime.
Each Recipe Should:
- be original, unpublished, and created by you
- include at least one French's product
- include no more than 8 ingredients(with the exception of salt, pepper and water)
- be prepared and ready to serve in no more than 1 hour.
All submissions must be entered by October 31, 2009.
Five finalists, determined by online voting and a judging panel, will compete in a LIVE Cook-Off event to be held in New York City for a chance to win the Grand Prize of $25,000! Recipes will be evaluated on taste, appearance, creativity and family appeal.

Prizes
Grand prize winner following the 2010 Live Cook-Off will receive $25,000 plus a 6-month supply of French's products.
4 runners up will each receive a new 7-quart Cuisinart Stand Mixer (SRP $725 each), and a 6-month supply of French's products.
Throughout the duration of the Submission period, weekly votes will be tallied and the entrant with the most votes per week will be awarded a weekly prize and promoted on the site until the next week's winner is announced. Each entrant will be limited to one weekly prize.
Voting
Submission Period
All approved recipes will be available online for voting up until October 31,2009. Users can vote for any recipe once every 24 hours. Users can vote for multiple recipes in the same 24 hour period.
Semi-finals
The 10 most popular recipes (one per entrant) and 10 recipes chosen by the Cookoff juding panel will advance to the semi-finals. The 20 semi-finalists will again be open for another round of online voting from Novemeber 8, 2009 to November 25, 2009.
Finals
The most popular recipe will receive the--People's Choice Award, and advance to the Live Cook-Off along with four other recipes chosen by the judging panel! Only one recipe per user will advance--if two recipes by the same contestant are in the top 10 for votes, only one entry-- the one with the most votes--will advance for that contestant.
Weekly Winners
Each week, the recipe with the most votes during that week will receive a weekly prize and be given a prominently featured spot on the Cook-Off landing page.
